For the nursery flyer PDF is the file format as it is a mixture or vectors and bitmaps, this is becuse the images need to be enlarged but also text is present.

For the van text Vector file format is used because it has to be enlarged to fit the van.

for the band logo the file format used is Bitmap as web browsers pick up bitmaps easily, some examples of bitmaps are JPEG or GIF.

The main difference between Vector and Bitmap is that you can enlarge vectors as much as you wish but however if your enlarge bitmaps they become pix-elated and rather blurry.
