Copyright – Is the legal right given to an originator which is basically frowned upon of copying, distributing, altering and displaying creative, literary and other types of work.

This can affect the making of a graphic as you would really need to watch you do not make a graphic to similar to an existing one as they could potentially sue or prosecute you.

Trademark - A symbol, word or words which are legally registered as a representation of that company, product or organization.

This could affect the making of a graphic because if a certain product has a symbol or word trademark you would have to be very careful in the making of yours also if you make a product or slogan too similar to an existing you could potentially be prosecuted.

Intellectual property - A work or invention such as a manuscript or a design in which the inventor has rights to.

This could affect the making of a graphic because you have to be very careful in the inventing of a design of your own as you could make it to similar to an existing and also potentially be prosecuted.
